Our office is located on the first floor of the Atmiya Icchaa Complex right on the Bakrol-Vadtal Rode in Bakrol. If you know the Bakrol area, you know it’s been changing quite a bit lately. We spend most of our time looking at maps and talking to folks who are interested in the local land. The stairs up to the office can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. Inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in papers and a few chairs for when people come by to chat. We usually have the fan on high because the sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon. It’s not a quiet place because of the traffic on the road outside. We hear the motorbikes and buses all day long. Sometimes we head down to the ground floor to talk with the other shop owners. It’s a community where everyone knows what’s being built and who is moving where. We don't have a big reception staff or anything fancy like that. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are writing. We deal with a lot of paperwork and government filings which takes up a lot of our energy. It’s a lot of back and forth between the site and this desk. We just keep at it day by day, making sure the files are in order and the projects keep moving.
