Gurukrupa Wire Netting Industries

Our place is out in the Gidc Industrial Estate in Petlad. We are on Plot No. 17 and 18, which gives us enough room for the heavy wire netting machines. Gurukrupa Wire Netting Industries is basically just a workshop where we spend our days bending and weaving metal. It’s loud and the floor is usually covered in little bits of cut wire. We make stuff for fencing and industrial uses, mostly for people who need something sturdy that will last out in the rain and sun. The machines we use have been around for years, but they still do the job if you oil them right. Working with wire is tough on your hands, so we all have calluses. The estate gets pretty busy with trucks coming in and out, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is when we actually take a break. We don't have a fancy reception area or a big sign. Most people just find us because they’ve been told we’re the ones at the back of the estate who do the work. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the tension and making sure the rolls are even. Some days are slow when the power is acting up, but usually, we have enough to keep us going until the evening. It’s just what we do here in Petlad, making sure the orders are ready and the rolls are packed up for the next delivery.
