Friends Industries

We've been at Plot No. 519 in the G.I.D.C. Estate for a while now. Vitthal Udyog Nagar is a busy place, always full of trucks moving and the sound of machines running in the background. Our workshop isn't fancy. It has metal walls and floors that have seen a lot of grease and hard work over the years. Most days, you’ll find us wearing stained shirts, focused on the metal parts on the benches. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. People know us as the guys who stay until the work is finished, even if it means staying past the usual time. The address is easy to find once you get into the estate, though the traffic can be a bit of a mess in the mornings. We started with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as we needed them. It’s not about looking good for visitors; it’s about making sure the parts we make are solid. You can hear the hum of the lathe from the street. We drink tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. It’s a simple setup here at Friends Industries, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner covered in papers and measuring tools. That’s how we like it.
