Birla Copper, Dahej On Contract Base

We've been working out of this spot near the Post Office in Vadeli for a while now. It’s a quiet village in Borsad, and mostly we handle things for the Birla Copper site down in Dahej on a contract basis. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and some chairs where we keep track of the shifts and the workers going back and forth. The commute to Dahej is something we do every day, and it gets pretty busy when the new contracts start up. If you're looking for us, just ask anyone near the post office, they usually know where we are. We don't really have a big sign or anything. The internet can be a bit slow out here sometimes, so we spend a lot of time on our phones making calls. Most of the people here are locals from the Anand district. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done without too much fuss. It’s dusty work, especially in the summer months when the wind picks up across the fields. We usually have some tea around four and talk about the day's progress. It’s just how we run things here. There isn't much to say other than we're just a small part of the bigger operation over at the plant. We show up, do our bit, and head home.
