Dgbits Software Private Limited is out in Mallamgunta Village. Our address is Door No. 1/32 in the Chiguruwada area, which some people associate with the BPO work around here. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which is actually quite nice for the kind of work we do. You don't get as much noise from cars and buses here as you would in the center of town. We are a software company, but we don't act like the ones you see in brochures. It's just a regular building where we set up our computers and desks. We started this place because we wanted to work closer to home and avoid the long commutes. The village atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. Sometimes you can hear the birds or the wind in the trees outside while we’re busy typing away. We have a small, tight-knit team. Everyone knows each other well, including our families. We aren't big on titles or having formal meetings every hour. Usually, we just talk over the desks when something needs fixing or someone has a question. It’s very practical and down-to-earth. We deal with code and data mostly. Some of the locals ask us what exactly a software company does in a village, and we just say we build things on the internet for people. It’s a bit hard to explain sometimes if they aren't tech-savvy. We don't have a cafeteria, just a small corner to eat our tiffins and have a chat. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and like the rhythm.
