Ratna Beauty Parlour

My shop, Ratna Beauty Parlour, is located on the Main Road in Narsipatnam. If you are familiar with Krishna Bazar, you can find us easily at Door No 8-57. I’ve been working here for quite a while now. The shop is on a busy street, so there is always noise from the buses and bikes outside. Inside, it’s just a simple setup for beauty work. I do a lot of threading, facials, and hair coloring for the local women. It’s not one of those expensive places you see in the big malls in Visakhapatnam city. It is a local shop for local people. I usually keep the door open to let some air in, even if it gets a bit dusty from the road. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone to cleaning the mirrors at the end of the night. On festival days, it gets really crowded and I barely have time to sit down or eat my lunch. But I like staying busy. People in Narsipatnam are friendly and they usually wait their turn while drinking some tea. I don’t use any complicated machines, just my hands and some basic tools I’ve used for a long time. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still know where to go. It’s just a practical place to get your hair or skin looked after without spending too much money or time. We just keep things moving every day in our own way.
