The Gurukul Foundation School Kashipur

You can find us over in the Industrial Estate area of Kashipur, specifically at B 12/13 on Gurukul Road. It’s an interesting spot for a school, being near the industrial side of things, but it works for us. The Gurukul Foundation School is a straightforward place. We have a set of buildings that we’ve put together to give the kids enough room to study and play. It’s not a quiet, sleepy area; there’s always something moving nearby. Our days are pretty standard. We open up early, the buses arrive, and the kids head to their rooms. We’ve got a lot of local children from across Kashipur who come here. The teachers just focus on the curriculum and making sure everyone stays on track. We have a playground that gets pretty dusty during the dry months, but the kids don’t seem to mind much. We spend a lot of our time on maintenance, like painting the walls or fixing the desks. It’s a hands-on kind of job for all of us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches. We just show up, do the teaching, and make sure the school stays running properly. It’s honest work, and it keeps us all busy. Most of the families who send their kids here are working people from the surrounding area. We’re just a part of the local landscape here in the estate.
