VMKM ENTERPRISES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is based in a really old part of town. Our address is 2626, Bazaar Bakarwana, in what everyone calls Pakki Gali. If you know Amritsar, you know these narrow streets are full of history and a lot of noise. Being in Pakki Gali means we are right in the thick of things. The office itself is quite small, which is expected for an OPC, and we have to be very organized to make sure we don't trip over each other. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that’s just how the bazaar is laid out. We get a lot of people passing by our door every day, and the smells from the nearby food shops are always drifting in. It’s not a sterile environment like those offices in the new shopping malls. It’s a real place with a lot of character. We spend our time managing the enterprise and keeping up with the daily chores that come with running a business in 143001. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the hustle and bustle of the bazaar all day long. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR person to tell our story. It is just us in this little spot in the Pakki Gali, doing what we do and trying to stay productive amidst all the city life. It is hard work but we are used to it.
