Chatter Sain & Company

Chatter Sain & Company is located over on Lajpat Rai Road, right near Chowk Khangha. It’s an old part of the area, and things move at their own pace here. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a long time. The street is usually full of life, with people walking by and scooters zipping through the lanes. We keep the shop open six days a week, and usually, someone is here by nine to get things started. There isn't anything particularly special about the building, just a solid place where we do our work and store our supplies. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them where we sit. Some days are slow, especially when it’s really hot outside and nobody wants to be on the road, so we just sit under the fan and wait for the evening breeze to kick in. Other times, it’s a bit of a rush and we are busy until late in the evening. We handle everything ourselves, from the paperwork to the heavy lifting. It's a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers who have been with us forever. We don't worry much about being the biggest or the most modern. We just want to make sure the work gets done and we can go home at a decent hour to have dinner. That is how we have always done it.
