Our office for Sharma Contractors Private Limited is over by the Verka Bye Pass. If you know where Fortis Hospital is in Amritsar, we are right near there. It’s a very busy spot, but the location really works for what we do. Contracting work takes us across the city and sometimes out into the rural parts of Punjab. The office itself isn't anything special to look at. It is just a place where we keep the folders and meet up before heading to different sites. Being near the hospital and the bypass means our trucks move in and out without getting stuck in narrow city lanes. We’ve been operating under this name for quite a bit now. My family and the regular crew have been doing this for a long time. Amritsar is our home, and we know the ground here better than anywhere else. Some days are quite long, especially when three or four jobs are running at the same time. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. Most people just hear about us from a neighbor or see our name on a board at a project. Keeping things simple and honest is how we work. If there is a job to be done, we just go and do it. That’s how things have always operated for us. We just stay busy and keep the trucks moving.
