Sandhu Ice Cream Palaor

We are right in Gaddi Bazar, very close to the bus stand here in Patti. It’s a busy location because of all the people coming and going from the buses all day long. Sandhu Ice Cream Palaor has been around for a long time. People know us for being that spot near the station where you can get something cold while waiting for your ride. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for what we need. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their departures. It gets very loud with the buses and the market noise, but we’re used to it after all these years. We keep the coolers running 24/7, which is a big job in this heat. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it’s raining outside and people come in from the mud, but we clean it up as fast as we can. We are just local people serving other local people. There’s no fancy talk or marketing here. We just show you what we have and you pick what you want. My family has been involved with this for years.
