Noorani Traders

Noorani Traders is located right on Malhad Talkies Road in Tarowala Bagh. It’s an old part of town, and our shop has a bit of that old-fashioned feel to it. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling and they are packed with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. We deal in trade, so our days are filled with people asking about prices and checking what we have in stock. It’s often a bit dusty inside because of the old building, but we try to keep it as clean as possible. Being near Malhad Talkies means there are always people around, especially in the evenings. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s not a shiny, modern store. It’s just a place where we do business across a wooden counter. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back room to find something a customer asked for, but we usually find it eventually. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still like using our paper ledgers for some things. It’s a simple way of working that has suited us for a long time. Tarowala Bagh is where we belong, and we are happy to be part of the community here. We just take each day as it comes, talking to the people who walk in and making sure we have what they need for their own businesses or homes. The front door creaks a bit, but we never got around to fixing it.
