New Bharat Spices

Our spot is right on Tarn Taran Road, specifically at 406 in Gali Bardane Wali. If you know the area, you know it gets really crowded and loud with all the trucks and carts moving through. We’ve been dealing with spices here for a long time. The smell of turmeric and chili is basically stuck in our clothes at this point. It’s a family thing, mostly. We spend our mornings checking the bags and making sure everything is where it should be. The warehouse is a bit cramped, but we make it work. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings us over a couple of cups when we’re too busy to leave the counter. Gali Bardane Wali is a tough place to navigate if you aren't used to it. We deal with lots of different people every day, from big buyers to someone just needing a small bag of something for their kitchen. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around, so it keeps us on our toes. There’s no air conditioning, so the summers get pretty hot, but we just open the fans and keep moving. We don't have a big website or anything fancy. We just stay here and wait for the regulars to show up. It’s steady work and it’s what we know. The days start early and end when the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter.
