My Teacher

My Teacher is a small place located at 64 A, Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar. We are tucked away behind Madav Vidya School. It is a nice, quiet spot in 143001, which helps because it is easier for students to focus when there isn't too much noise from the street. We have got a couple of rooms where we sit down and go through lessons. It is not a fancy institute with a big sign and glass doors. It is more like a home setup where learning feels a bit more relaxed. We help out with different subjects. Some kids come for help with their daily homework, others are worried about their finals. We just take it one day at a time. Amritsar is our home, and we like being part of the community here in Ranjit Avenue. We don't run a lot of ads. People mostly find us because their friends told them we were here. We don't have a set mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure that when a student leaves, they understand a bit more than when they walked in. The desks are a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the teaching happens regardless. We use paper and pens, and lots of talk. It is basic, honest work. That is what My Teacher is. Just a place to learn things without the extra fluff or unnecessary distractions.
