Keen Home Tutorial

At Keen Home Tutorial, we operate out of House No 160 in the Amritsar Cantt area. It’s a bit different from the busy markets because the Cantt is usually much quieter and has more trees. We are situated near the Gurudwara in Sadar Bazar, which is a very familiar spot for anyone living around here. The house has been used for these tutorials for a while now. We use a couple of the front rooms for the students to sit in. It feels more like a home than a school, which I think some people prefer. You can hear the prayers from the Gurudwara sometimes, and it’s actually quite peaceful. There isn’t a big lobby or anything like that. People just come to the door and head straight to the study area. I usually keep a few extra pens and notebooks around because someone always forgets theirs. The furniture is a bit old, but it’s comfortable enough for an hour or two of sitting. Since it is a residential area, we have to make sure the students don't make too much noise when they are leaving in the evening. It’s a small operation, mostly just handling a handful of students at a time. We don't do much advertising; people mostly find out about us from their neighbors or by seeing the house number as they walk through Sadar Bazar on their way to the market or the place of worship nearby.
