Kishori Lal Bhander Bhan & Company

Kishori Lal Bhander Bhan & Company is tucked away at Shop No.4105 in the middle of Naya Bazaar. We are quite close to the Lohori Gate, which is an area that has so much history and noise. The bazaar is always a bit chaotic with people pushing carts and the sounds of sellers calling out, and our shop is right in the thick of it all. It is an old building and the space is a bit tight, but we have been working out of here for a long time. We deal with various goods and the days are usually spent managing the inventory and talking to the traders who come through the gate. There is always a lot of heavy lifting and the floors are worn down from years of people coming in and out. We don’t have any modern signage or a fancy storefront. It is just the name on the wall and the work we do inside. The air in Naya Bazaar has a specific smell of spices and old wood that you never really forget. Sometimes the traffic near Lohori Gate gets so bad that nothing moves for an hour, but we just keep going with our work inside the shop. It is a family sort of place where everyone knows their job and we don't really waste time on things that don't matter. It is a busy, dusty, and loud place to work, but it is home for us.
