Karan Art Jewellers

Karan Art Jewellers is located on the first floor of the Dunga Shivala Market. We are right across from the Post Office at Patel Chowk. It’s a very busy and local kind of market. We have been here for many years, and we know a lot of the other shop owners in the building. Our shop is on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs to find us. It’s a small place, but it is filled with all sorts of items we’ve collected over time. Working in jewelry means we spend a lot of our day looking at small things and talking to customers about what they want. We don’t have a big marketing department or any fancy advertisements. Most of our customers come to us because they’ve been here before or their family told them about us. Patel Chowk is always full of people and noise, but it’s a good place to be. We spend a lot of time cleaning the display cases and making sure everything is in its place. We aren't a big chain; it’s just a small business run by people who care about what they do. We’ve seen many families come through our doors over the years for weddings and special occasions. It feels good to be part of the community here. We are usually here from the morning until quite late in the evening. It’s just how we run things.
