Hum Tum Collections

Hum Tum Collections is right over by Partap Bagh. It’s actually a nice spot because we get to see the greenery of the park whenever we step out for a break. The area around Partap Bagh is usually pretty lively, with families and kids running around in the evenings. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular brick place where we keep all our stock. We deal with various collections of things, and the shelves are usually packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of space, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a spot for everything. We spend a lot of time folding, sorting, and labeling items. It’s just a few of us here, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day you might be cleaning the floors and the next day you’re talking to a supplier for three hours. We keep a fan going most of the time because it gets quite stuffy inside with all the boxes piled up. We don't really have a set way of doing things, we just tackle whatever needs to be done that morning. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we like it that way. It feels like a real business, not some sterile shop. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the tea stall across the street pretty well and they always know when we need a break.
