Kamboj Masala Products

Our small workshop is located at Plot No-406 on Tarn Taran Road, right near the Dera and Sant Bhuri Wala. If you are in the area, you can usually smell the spices before you even see our sign. We started Kamboj Masala Products because we knew how to grind good spices and there was a need for it here. It is not a very large operation. We have a few grinding machines in the back room and a space for packing the powders into bags. My hands are almost always stained with the color of turmeric, no matter how much I wash them. We don't use any big fancy automated systems. Everything is done by hand or with simple machines that we look after ourselves. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the work quite difficult, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We sell to the local shops and some people who walk in off the street. We don't have a sales team or any corporate managers. It is just us working hard every day to make sure the masala is fresh. The bags aren't fancy, just plain plastic with our name on them. We think people care more about what is inside than the package anyway. It is just honest, simple work. We spend our evenings sweeping up the dust and getting ready for the next morning.
