Karmon Deori is one of those spots where you can really feel how old the city is. The streets are very narrow and it is often a struggle just to get our goods moved in and out. We are tucked away in a corner there, and our days are mostly spent dealing with cardboard boxes and rolls of packing tape. Because we are an export business, there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We do not have a big office with glass walls or fancy furniture. Our space is very practical with hard concrete floors and high metal shelves. The guys working here are used to the physical labor. We like to start early in the morning when the air is still a little bit cool. By the middle of the day, the market nearby is usually very loud and busy. We have been at this specific spot for a long time. We know all the neighbors and the people selling food on the corner. J.J. Exports is basically just a group of us making sure that everything is packed correctly so nothing gets damaged during the long trip. We do not have a marketing department to make us look professional. We are just a local business in a crowded part of town. Logistics can be a headache here, but we have figured out how to make it work. We just do our work and keep moving forward.
