Golden Eagle Glow Signs is located in Shop No.1 at Choudhary Plaza, right in the middle of the Hide Market area. Being near the Punjab National Bank makes it easy for people to tell us where they are when they’re looking for the shop. We spend our days working on signs that light up, which means there’s usually a lot of wiring and bits of plastic lying around the floor. It can get a bit messy, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't a big factory; we’re just a small shop where a few people put things together by hand. It takes some time to get the lights positioned just right, and sometimes we have to start over if something doesn't look right. We don't have any fancy sales people or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while the others are working with the tools. The market is always loud and there’s a lot of movement outside, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever order came in that morning. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up in the evening. There’s always something to fix or a new sign to assemble. We don't leave until the last bulb is checked.
