Bharat Neon Sign

Bharat Neon Sign is tucked away at 1194/9 in Gali Gujra, right near Chowk Baba Sahib. It’s one of those narrow lanes that has a lot of history. You can find us by looking for the glow of the neon. We have been making signs here for a long time. It’s an old-fashioned craft in a way, bending glass and filling it with gas to get those bright colors. The shop is always a bit cluttered with glass tubes and transformers. It smells a little bit like ozone and solder, but we are used to it. Being near Chowk Baba Sahib means we are in a very busy part of the city. There’s always someone passing by or a rickshaw trying to squeeze through the lane. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. If you want a sign, you come into the shop and talk to us directly. We show you how the glass is bent and what colors we can do. It’s a very hands-on process. We don't make big claims about being the biggest shop; we just know our trade. Each sign we make is a bit different because it’s all done by hand. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and things get a bit chaotic, but we always manage to finish them. It’s a good life here in Gali Gujra. We like the work and we like being part of this old neighborhood.
