Garg Motors is located over in Verka, Amritsar. We are at House Number 16/1360 on Gali Number 4, just behind the Salwan School. If you’re from around here, you know the area can get quite crowded, especially when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. We deal with Mahindra vehicles, so there’s usually a lot of heavy metal around. The yard is often full of cars and people coming in to take a look at things. We aren't one of those massive, shiny showrooms you see in the middle of a big city. We are more of a local spot where people feel comfortable walking in and asking questions. My clothes usually have a bit of grease on them and the office always smells a little like engine oil and tea. We spend our time checking over the vehicles and talking to customers about what they need for their work or their families. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once, but we sort it out. We know most of the people in the neighborhood. They stop by not just for the cars, but sometimes just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with their own vehicles. It’s a simple operation here in Verka. We just try to keep the cars moving.
