Dr Kamal Mahajan Child Hospital

Dr Kamal Mahajan’s place is over in the New Amritsar Colony. It’s a hospital specifically for kids, so there’s usually a lot of noise from little ones and their parents. We’ve been in this colony for a while, and most of the families around here know where to find us. The building isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep it organized inside. Dealing with sick children means things can get a bit hectic and emotional at times. We try to stay calm and just handle one patient after another. There are toys scattered in a few corners to keep the kids busy while they wait, but it’s still a hospital. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. The staff is used to dealing with crying babies and worried moms. We just try to get the checkups done and the medicines sorted as quickly as we can. Some days are longer than others, especially during flu season when the waiting room gets full. We’re just a regular part of the New Amritsar neighborhood. It’s a straightforward operation where the goal is just to see the kids get better. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets seen. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen some of these kids grow up. It’s a lot of work, but we just keep at it every single day.
