Bhavya Enterprises

Our place is on Albert Road, right across from the BSNL office in Amritsar. Being in the Main Bazaar means there is always something going on outside the door. Bhavya Enterprises isn't a very large name for what we do, which is basically just selling whatever people in this part of town need for their homes. We have boxes stacked up in the corners and sometimes it's hard to move around without bumping into something. The walk from the back to the front of the shop is short but I do it a hundred times a day. We deal with a lot of different items, from small household things to larger packets. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy with all the stock piled up. We don't use a computer for everything; a lot of it is still done with a pen and a notebook. It’s easier that way when you're in a hurry. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people rushing to work. Sometimes we stand at the doorway just to get a bit of fresh air and watch the crowd. We’ve been at this location for a while so the walls have some marks and the paint is peeling a little here and there. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else.
