Behari Lal Rajinder Lal

Our shop is located on Gagar Mal Road, right in the Katra Sher Singh area. If you are familiar with the street, we are situated right opposite the UCO Bank. It’s a very busy part of the city. There are always people walking by and rickshaws honking their horns. Behari Lal Rajinder Lal has been around for a very long time. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We have these high ceilings and wooden shelves that go all the way up to the top. We have to use a tall ladder just to reach the stuff on the upper levels. It gets a bit dusty up there, to be honest. The UCO Bank across the road is a good landmark. We see people going in and out of the bank all day long. Sometimes they wander over here after they finish their banking. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. It's more of a traditional shop setup. We often sit on small stools or sometimes on the floor when we are sorting things. we always offer a glass of water to anyone who comes in because it gets so hot outside. The noise from the street is constant. You can hear the bells of the cycles and people shouting to each other. We are used to it. It’s just the sound of the market. We don't try to be something we aren't.
