Shree Primary School

Shree Primary School is a small place located in Kotha Pipariya, which is in the Amreli district. Since we are a primary school, we mostly deal with very young children from the village. The school is not very big, just a few rooms where we teach the basics like reading, writing, and simple counting. Most of the kids walk to school from their homes nearby. We don't have a bus or anything like that. The building is old and the walls are painted a simple color that has faded over time. We have a small porch where the kids leave their shoes before entering the classrooms. It is usually quite noisy during the day because little children have a lot of energy. We try to keep them focused on their lessons, but it can be hard sometimes. There are a few charts on the walls showing alphabets and numbers. Outside, there is a small patch of ground where they play during their break time. We have a couple of water taps for them to wash their hands and drink. The parents here are mostly farmers or local workers, and they appreciate having a school so close to home. We just do our best to give the children a start in their education. It is a very simple life here in Kotha Pipariya, and the school is just one part of it. We end the day early so the kids can get home safely.
