Dhamel Pay Center School

If you take the Dhamel Road out toward Bhalvav, you will eventually run into us. Dhamel Pay Center School is just a local spot for the younger kids in this part of Amreli. The building has been here for a while, and it shows in some of the corners. We spend a lot of time just managing the kids and making sure they stay in their seats during the lessons. The area around Bhalvav is pretty quiet, mostly just fields and some small houses nearby. It gets very quiet during the middle of the day when the sun is high. We have some trees in the courtyard where we sometimes sit during breaks to get away from the heat inside the rooms. The desks are a bit old and some of them wobble if you lean too hard. We have to keep an eye on the midday meal prep because that is a big part of the day here. Most of the teachers travel a bit to get here every morning. We don't have any big signs or posters everywhere. Just the name on the front and the pin code 365220 on the official papers. It is a simple life at the school. We deal with broken chalk, messy notebooks, and the usual noise of children playing during the recess. It is just how things are in this part of Gujarat. We do what needs doing and go home when the last bell rings. The goats from the nearby farms sometimes wander near the gate, looking for a bit of shade. It is just a normal village school day.
