Wavare Class has been operating in Mudholkar Peth for a good while now. It is a busy part of Amravati, especially during the afternoons when the students start arriving for their lessons. Most of them walk or come on their cycles, parking them in a messy line outside. Inside the room, we have just the basic stuff like wooden tables, plastic chairs, and a large whiteboard that usually needs a good scrub. It gets quite warm in the summer months, but the ceiling fans keep the air moving enough for everyone to stay focused. There is usually a lot of noise from the street traffic, but once the door is closed, it feels a bit more like a study hall. People around this neighborhood know the address well since we are right near the main market area. We open up the shutters early in the morning to get things ready before the first batch shows up. It is not a very big place, but it works for what we do every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait for it to come back or open the windows wider for some light. We do not have any fancy furniture or decorations on the walls, just a clock and some old calendars. It feels like a normal home turned into a learning space. Most families in Amravati living nearby send their kids here because it is just around the corner and easy to reach.
