Swamini Masala

Swamini Masala is located over in Gajanan Nagar, right on the Anjangaon Road in Akot. We are pretty close to the Gajanan Mandir, so we see a lot of people coming through for prayers and then stopping by. It’s a local operation where we deal with different kinds of spices. We spend most of our time sorting through seeds and grinding them down. The machines can be a bit loud and they get hot during the afternoon, but that is just part of the job. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of managers, it is just us working in the space we have. Sometimes the bags pile up near the door because we’re busy, but we get through it. People in Akot know where we are, and they come to us when they need fresh masala for their cooking. We try to keep things straightforward and don't spend much time on fancy labels or anything like that. The work is steady, and we like being part of this neighborhood. It is a bit of a walk from the main center, but being near the temple makes it feel like a nice spot. We just focus on the quality of the spice and making sure we have enough for everyone who asks. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy and we appreciate the people who support us here.
