Shri Sai Ice Cream Parlour

We have been here in Sudarshan Nagar for a bit now. Our shop is right in Ganesh Colony, just opposite the bus stand. It gets really busy around here because of the Panchayat Samiti nearby. You see people waiting for their buses all day and they usually look pretty tired. We just keep the freezers running and make sure everything is cold. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to deal with that, which is a headache. But usually, it is just us behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. We don't have fancy seats or anything like that. Just a simple place. My brother helps me out in the evenings when the crowd from the bus stand gets thick. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. It is noisy but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. We try to keep the floors swept because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. Some kids from the colony come by after school almost every day. They know where we are because we are right there on the corner. It's not a big business or anything, just a small parlour where you can get something cold when it’s hot. We spend a lot of time just checking the temperature of the machines to make sure nothing melts. It’s what we do here in this part of town and we don't plan on changing much.
