About Saibaba Ice Cream Kulfi Fectory – Food & Beverages in Amravati
Our factory is situated right at Murari Chowk in Murtizapur. It’s a very central spot, so we are right in the middle of all the action near the main chowk. Calling it a factory sounds a bit big, but we do have the equipment here to make a lot of kulfi and ice cream. Most of our work happens in the back where the temperature is kept very low. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving the molds and making sure the mixtures are just right before they go into the deep freezers. The front of the place is where we interact with people. It can get quite dusty because of all the traffic outside, so we are constantly dusting the counters. We aren't trying to be the most modern place around. We just use the methods we know to make the kulfi the way people around Murtizapur like it. The noise from the chowk is constant, but you get used to it after a few months. We stay busy during the wedding season especially, as that is when everyone wants kulfi in bulk. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just a family-run type of operation where everyone chips in. We open early to start the production and usually stay until the last delivery is sent out. It’s hard work, and our hands are always cold, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as best as we can every day.
