Our shop, Maharashtra Vp Ice Cream, is in Saikheda Village. We are located right near the Hanuman Mandir, which is a place everyone in the village knows. Being in the Chandur Bz Taluka of Amravati District, it’s a quiet life most of the time. We serve the local people who live around here and the folks who come to the temple. It’s a small operation. We don’t have many employees, usually just us and maybe a family member helping out. The shop is small and we keep it as cool as we can during the hot afternoons. We make sure we have the flavors that the kids in the village like. It’s not a polished store with bright lights. It’s just a simple room with some freezers and a counter. We spend our days talking to neighbors and making sure the ice cream stays frozen. Sometimes the supply truck takes a while to get out here to the village, so we have to plan ahead and watch our stock. We like being part of Saikheda. It’s a good community where everyone knows each other. You won’t find any corporate talk here, just plain ice cream and a friendly face. If you are visiting the Hanuman Mandir, you will see us right there. We’ve been here for a good while and plan to stay as long as the neighbors keep coming by.
