Hingane Masale

Our place is right in Karajgaon Village. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the post office. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when the harvest is coming in and things get moving. We do the masale here, so the whole area usually smells like coriander or cloves depending on what we are doing that day. Being in Chandur Bz Taluka, we are surrounded by fields and a lot of the people who work here come from the nearby houses. It is a family thing, mostly. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the units where we work on the spices. The building is simple, nothing like those big factories you see in the city. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We’ve been here for years, and most of the villagers know where the Hingane Masale unit is. We use the local post office for all our mail, which is just a short walk away. It’s a basic life here, honestly. We wake up, get the machines started, and spend the day checking the condition of the seeds and the powders. There isn't much fluff to what we do. It’s just about getting the work done so the packets are ready for the market. We don't have any fancy mission statements, we just grind the spices and pack them up.
