Green Melghat Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is set up in Chichkhed, right at Shri Dashrath Balaram Ajaneriya’s place. We are known as Green Melghat. It’s a farmer producer company, so our lives revolve around the harvest and the seasons. Chichkhed is a quiet spot, and we like it that way. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls. We work out of a simple building where we can store some supplies and meet with the local farmers. The work is mostly about coordinating who is growing what and where it needs to go. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting on the porch talking about the weather. Dashrath Balaram Ajaneriya’s house is the hub for everything we do. It’s not always organized perfectly. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little mixed up or we’re late getting back from a field visit. But we know the people here and they know us. We are just trying to help the farming community in our area. It's a lot of heavy lifting and long days under the sun. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is good, we're happy. If the rain stays away, we worry. That’s just the reality of life in Chichkhed. We’re just regular people trying to make a living from the land.
