If you head down Badnera Road, you'll eventually find Gharrkul Industries. We've been using Post Box No. 1 for as long as I can remember. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we have plenty of space for the factory and the warehouses. The gates are usually open during the day because there’s always a truck coming or going. Inside the office, it’s mostly the sound of old fans clicking and people typing up invoices. We aren't big on decorations; the walls are just painted a plain color and covered with calendars from different suppliers. Most of the real action happens in the back where the processing is done. It can get pretty loud when the machinery is running at full speed. We have a lot of long-time employees who have been with us since the beginning, so everyone knows their job and we don't need much shouting. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them ourselves on the fly with whatever tools are handy, which keeps the day interesting. It’s a straightforward business. We make what we make and try to get it out the door on time. Badnera Road can get pretty dusty in the summer, and the monsoon rain makes the yard a bit of a muddy mess, but we just keep going. It’s a solid place to work, even if it isn't flashy. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the orders are right before the trucks leave.
