Our company, Chemito Technologies, is based at A-81 in the MIDC area, right near the large water tank. That water tank is a good way to find us since all the blocks in this industrial zone look very similar. We work with technical instruments and testing equipment. The building is just a simple industrial shed that we have divided into different sections for our work. It is often quite hot inside, so we have a few big fans running all day to keep the air moving. We have some lab benches where we test the machines and make sure they are calibrated properly. It is quiet work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes we have to take a machine apart and put it back together several times to find a small fault. We are a small group of people who just enjoy figuring out how things work. There is always a layer of dust on everything because of the construction work going on in MIDC, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our tools. We don't have a big corporate culture here. We just come in, do our testing, and go home. Our neighbors are mostly other small factories, so there is always the sound of machines in the background. It is a practical place for people who like to work with their hands and their heads.
