We are based out of House Number 223 in Asegaon. It’s in the Dhamangaon Railway tehsil, over in the Amravati district. It’s a rural area, so things are much slower and quieter than in the big cities like Mumbai or Pune. We focus on medical and paramedical science for the local community here. The office is basically part of a house. It’s a very local, grassroots kind of setup that we have grown over time. We don't have a fancy website or a big office building with glass walls. It’s just us working from here to help organize medical training and support in this part of Maharashtra. A lot of people in the village know us by name. We’ve been here for a long time. The work is mostly administrative, making sure the local medical standards are being followed and people are getting the right information. Sometimes we have people coming in from the nearby villages for help or advice. It’s a simple room with a few chairs, a computer, and a desk. We don't need much more than that to get through the day's tasks. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes out here, especially when it rains, but we manage to get our reports filed eventually. It’s an honest living and we’re glad to be serving our own area. It's just how we do things in Asegaon and we plan to stay here for many years.
