Franco Indian Institute

The Franco Indian Institute is situated in the Pehlwan Complex, which is in the Camp area of Amravati. We are right near the Zero Degree Ice Cream Parlour, so that is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Court Square is also very close, so there is always a lot of movement around here with lawyers and people heading to the offices. Being on the ground near the square means it gets quite busy. We have a few rooms where the language classes happen. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has some character to it. People come here to learn something different, and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. You can often hear the traffic from the main road while a lesson is going on. Sometimes students go over to the ice cream shop after they finish up here. The address is 444602, and we’ve seen many people come and go through these doors over the years. We don’t use any complicated teaching gadgets, just the usual boards and some papers. It feels like a local hub more than a big institute. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't stop the learning. We keep the doors open mostly to let the breeze in when Amravati gets too hot. It is a humble place, just tucked away in the complex, doing what we do every day for the folks around here.
