Computer World

Out here in Chandur Bazar, things move at their own pace, and we are fine with that. Our shop, Computer World, is located on Bhaktidham Marg, and it has been a part of this street in Amravati for a good number of years. It is not a giant place, but it is where we spend all our mornings and evenings. When you walk inside, you will mostly see piles of parts, some older monitors sitting on the floor, and probably one of us leaning over a motherboard with a screwdriver. It is dusty work most of the time, but that is just how it goes when you are dealing with hardware in this part of the country. We know all the neighbors and the folks who walk past our door every single day on their way to work. Most of the time, people come in because something they own stopped working or they need a specific cable that is hard to find anywhere else. We try to keep everything simple. There is not much of a front desk or a waiting area, just a wooden counter where we talk to whoever walks in. The address is 9-Bhaktidham Marg, which is easy enough to find if you are familiar with the area. We are not a big chain or a corporate branch, just a local spot where we handle computer stuff. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait, or we use that time to organize the drawers of screws and RAM sticks.
