Suncrest Food Makers

Suncrest Food Makers is based at Plot No. W-31/D in the MIDC area of Anand Nagar, over in Ambernath East. It’s a typical industrial plot with a lot of space for the equipment and the storage. We spend most of our time in hairnets and aprons, which isn't very glamorous, but it’s what the job requires. The MIDC area is always buzzing with activity, especially in the mornings when the shifts change. We’ve got a routine that we stick to. First, we check the ingredients, then we start the processing lines. It’s a lot of monitoring and making sure the temperatures are right. We aren't trying to be some massive global brand. We just want to make sure the food we produce is consistent and that the bags are sealed properly. The floor gets washed down twice a day, and there’s always a smell of whatever we’re making hanging in the air. Sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s more savory. The staff mostly comes from the nearby parts of Ambernath, so we’ve got a good local crew. We don’t have any polished mission statements on the walls. We just have the safety signs and the production schedules. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but we get the orders out on time. It’s just a regular food production unit doing its best every day.
