We are based out in Ramnagar, near the Sultanpur post office in Dhanukara. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s much quieter here. Our work is in biotechnology, which sounds more complicated than it actually feels on a daily basis. We spend most of our time in the lab or dealing with paperwork related to our research. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can do our work without being bothered. Being near the post office is handy because we send out a lot of samples and documents. The local area is mostly farmland and small houses, so it’s a peaceful environment for what we do. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We usually have lunch together in the small break room we set up. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, but we make do. People in the village know us as the science folks, even if they aren't quite sure what we do all day in the office. We like the local pace of life. It’s not like the big corporate offices in the city where everyone is in a rush. Here, we take our time to get the details right. We are just a small group doing our part in this quiet corner of Ramnagar and we enjoy the surroundings.
