Agrotech Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited

This is Agrotech Organic Farmers, and we’re based out of Harish Kumar’s place in Jallapur. It’s a quiet spot in Ambedkar Nagar where things move a bit slower than the city. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to work together instead of struggling alone. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, learning from our fathers. We focus on organic ways because that’s what makes sense for the soil in the long run. It's not always easy work. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and we all sit around worrying. We meet up at the house to talk about seeds and what the current market prices are looking like. We don't have a glass building or a receptionist sitting at a desk. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea on a plastic chair and talking about the crops. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair deal for their hard work. Harish handles a lot of the paperwork, which is a real chore. There are a lot of forms to fill out for these producer companies these days. We try our best to keep up with it all. It’s a local thing, really. Everyone knows everyone else's name around here. We aren't trying to be some big corporation with a fancy logo. We just want the fields to stay healthy. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait hours to use the old computer. That's just life in the village.
