Lab Star Equipment Manufacturing Company

Our place, Lab Star Equipment Manufacturing Company, is tucked away at number 3611 in the Timber Market. Being in a market like this means there is always the sound of saws or trucks moving around outside. It isn't the cleanest area, but it’s where things actually get built. We spend our time putting together different types of lab gear. There is a lot of metal, some glass, and plenty of tools scattered across the workbenches. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by noon. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working on whatever order is next on the list. It gets hot in the summer because the roof is just corrugated sheets, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The neighbors are mostly woodworkers and other small shops. We share a water cooler and complain about the road being blocked by delivery trucks. It’s a simple operation. We take the raw materials, follow the diagrams, and try not to make too much of a mess. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you’re making things. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we like the independence of it.
