Our shop is mostly filled with computer parts, old monitors, and a few workbenches where we take things apart. It is often a bit cluttered with cables and screws because there is always something being repaired. People from around the sector come in when their laptops won't start or if they need a new part for their home setup. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. Sometimes it gets frustrating when a software update won't behave, but we eventually figure it out. We spend most of our hours staring at screens or digging through drawers for the right cable. The neighborhood is quiet enough, which helps when you need to concentrate on a tricky soldering job. We keep the doors open during the day so anyone can just walk in and ask a question. It is a very normal local business. We don't put on any acts; we just fix what is broken and help people with their tech stuff. It is what we do every day from morning until we close up in the evening. There is usually a half-finished cup of coffee on the bench while we work on a machine.
