My name is S.C. Choudhry and I work out of my house at H.No 653 in Sector 10, Panchkula. After retiring as an Executive Engineer from the Haryana PWD B&R department, I decided to keep busy by using the experience I gained over all those years. Sector 10 is a fairly quiet part of Panchkula, which is nice for focusing on technical details and paperwork. I don't have a big staff or a fancy office building; it’s just me working from home. I handle various things related to engineering and construction because that’s what I know best. People usually come to me because they need someone who understands the local regulations and how the department works. My setup is very basic—just a desk, my old reference books, and a computer. I spend my mornings going through documents and my afternoons maybe meeting someone or checking on a small project nearby. It’s a very different pace from when I was still with the PWD, but I like the independence. I don't feel the need to dress things up with marketing talk. I just provide my honest opinion and my technical skills based on my career. If you’re looking for someone with a lot of experience who doesn't charge for fancy office rent, this is where I am. I’ve been in this house for years and it serves as a good place to keep the work going.
