Narang Scientific Industries

It might seem a bit strange to find Narang Scientific Industries right in the middle of 3545, Timber Market. Most of our neighbors are dealing with heavy wood and sawdust, while we are focused on much smaller, more precise things. Ambala Cantt is known for this kind of work, and we’ve stayed in this spot because it just feels like home. The building is old, with high ceilings and shelves that are packed with all kinds of glass tubes and metal instruments. We don't have a big storefront with lights. Usually, the front door is just halfway open to let a bit of air in. Inside, you’ll find a couple of us hunched over workbenches, fixing parts or checking the alignment on a new piece of gear. We write our notes on scrap paper and keep our tools exactly where we can reach them without looking. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the noise of the timber saws outside. We don’t really bother with fancy sales talk. People usually come to us because they know we’ve been at this address for years and we don’t like to take shortcuts. Sometimes the dust from the market gets in, and we have to spend the morning cleaning everything again, but that’s just part of being here. We take things one day at a time and try to get the measurements right for whoever needs them.
