Namma Angandi Rice Traders

We've been running Namma Angandi Rice Traders for a while now here in Sector 45-C. It’s a busy spot in Chandigarh and we spend most of our mornings just sorting through bags and making sure everything is where it should be. The shop at 2060/3 is usually full of people coming in to check what’s arrived lately. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. It’s mostly just us talking to neighbors and keeping the place tidy. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with deliveries, but that’s just how it goes here. We have all kinds of rice stacked up against the walls. It smells like grain in here most of the time. People know us because we’ve been at this address for years and they just drop by when they need something for their kitchen. It isn't a huge operation, just a steady one. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves and try to keep things organized. Usually, the phone rings a lot in the afternoon with folks asking about prices. We just tell them what we have on the floor. Working in Chandigarh has its own rhythm. We see the same faces every week. It’s nice knowing everyone around Sector 45-C. We just keep our heads down and do the work day in and day out. It’s a simple life selling rice, but it keeps us busy and we like the people who come by.
