Maharishi Markandeshwar University

Maharishi Markandeshwar University is right here in Mullana. It is a pretty large campus with lots of different buildings spread out over the grounds. We have people coming in every day for classes in all sorts of subjects, from nursing to tech stuff. It gets quite crowded in the mornings when the buses roll in. Most of us who work here have been around for years and we’ve seen the place grow quite a bit. There are hostels where the students stay, so the place never really sleeps. You’ll see them walking to the canteen or hanging out near the sports grounds when they have a break. We also have a hospital on the property, so there is always some activity near that side of the university. It’s a busy life but we get used to the routine of semesters and exams. The summers are tough because it gets really warm in Mullana, but the trees offer some shade. We just try to keep things running smoothly so the students can get their degrees and move on to whatever is next for them. It’s not a flashy place, just a big university doing its thing in this part of the country. Sometimes the local traffic gets a bit backed up at the main gate when everyone leaves at once, but that is just part of being in a busy spot like this.
