Khullar Bricks Co.

Khullar Bricks Co. is located over in the Devi Nagar area, near Panchkula and Chandigarh. It’s a busy part of the region, so we stay pretty active. Running a brickyard here means we deal with a lot of different people every day. Some are big contractors and some are just homeowners. We don’t really have a sales team. It’s usually just one of us sitting at the desk or out in the yard. The work is repetitive but it’s what we know. We’ve been at this for a while now. The yard gets messy, especially when it’s busy. We try to keep the piles organized, but it’s hard when trucks are constantly loading up. Devi Nagar is a good spot for us. It’s close enough to the city for deliveries. We spend a lot of time worrying about the quality of the clay and how the firing is going. If the bricks aren’t right, then the whole day feels like a waste. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Most of our days are spent checking the schedule and talking to the drivers. It’s not the most exciting life, but it pays the bills and keeps us connected to the building trade around Chandigarh. We just keep our heads down and work. Sometimes we run out of space to put new batches, so we have to move things twice.
